Food Banks BC and AB emergency response plan lms
We were given an emergency preparedness document to transform into a comprehensive learning resource for food bank volunteers. The LMS is divided into 4 courses that corresponded to the 4 phases of an emergency response.
ROLE
I was the project and creative lead on this project. I led 2 writers, 2 IDs and 2 multimedia developers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As the project lead, I distilled and planned the core structure for the LMS and made key decisions of what and how we would include various elements in the build. I delegated tasks to the team for asset creation.
As lead designer, I created all the visual elements of this LMS including icons, infographics, handouts, and downloads. I worked closely with 1 writer and 1 ID to map the entire site that included over 25 custom videos, scenario-based tabletop exercises and many additional resources created by the team.
